Seeds Born to the Light: The Creative Process
Memories, Personal Growth, and the Memoir
Vital to a seed's germination is its exposure to light. In the process of growing into who they are meant to become, authors sometimes bring to light the seeds of memory scattered in their lives. This site encourages us to explore the creative process of writing from our memories. The authors who participate in these interviews share with us an immeasureable gift.
I am Pam Richards, a memoirist --which means I write memoirs--and host of these author interviews. I'll be every bit as curious to learn what these authors have to say as you are. I hope eventually to include a wide variety and range of authors whose genre is memoir, or whose writing originates from personal experience. Everyone here will see things a little differently. Everyone is welcome to bring their own perspective, so we all can learn from one another. Everyone's stage of personal development is respected--remembering at all times the courage it takes to publish our writing from the truth of our own lives.
Truth makes a work of art work. Truth brings art to life. These authors honor us by sharing their lives with us.
